Aldwark Manor Fine Dining

Completion Time: 12 Months
Budget: £1.5m

The fine dining restaurant draws its name and thematic design elements from Sir Winston Churchill’s renowned home, Chartwell House. Just as Churchill’s residence reflected a sense of timeless elegance and British heritage, so does the restaurant.

The building is supported by a robust steel frame that provides both structural integrity and flexibility. To maintain airflow and regulate temperature within the plant room, louver glass was strategically installed. This feature ensures that the plant room remains functional and efficient without compromising the overall aesthetic.

The restaurant incorporates an innovative brickwork pattern that not only adds to its visual appeal but also enhances natural ventilation. Meticulously designed glazing ensures that natural light floods the restaurant, providing guests with an inviting, airy atmosphere while maintaining privacy and protection from the outside elements.

The completion of Chartwell’s interior fit out was by HYM Joinery. Bespoke furniture was crafted in HYM Joinery’s warehouse, allowing the design team to ensure quality control and precision. HYM expertise was essential in capturing the high-end aesthetic of the restaurant, while their custom furniture pieces provided the finishing touch that aligned perfectly with the overall vision.
